The HAL Chair uses a single-piece (monobloc) injection-molded polypropylene shell, which is flexible yet supportive. This construction gives the chair slight elasticity, allowing it to adapt comfortably to the sitter’s movements without additional mechanisms.

The slight “give” of the plastic seat is intentional—it allows micro-movements while sitting, which reduces fatigue during long periods of use. It’s a subtle ergonomic feature built into the otherwise minimalist design.

HAL is not just a single chair—it’s a family of over 40 variants, including dining chairs, barstools, lounge versions, sled bases, star bases, stacking options, and even outdoor versions.
